National Child Day

National Child Day is celebrated in Canada on November 20th in recognition of the United Nations (UN) Declaration on the Rights of the Child and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Each year in Lloydminster, we focus on our communities commitment to children and making Lloydminster the best place to raise a child. We raise awareness of the importance of having children as active participants in their own lives and in the community; as active citizens who can and should meaningfully contribute to decision-making. We invite families to take time to play and learn together, and to connect with community.
